Banff Film Festival Hits Rockport
Share
This weekend Maine Sport welcomed over 1000 people to the Strom Auditorium to view the world's best mountain films. It was truly 3 nights to remember. From 'Colors of Mexico' to 'Bridge Boys' to 'Wild Waters,' the audience was taken on a non-stop journey with some of the best in adventure sports. Films such as 'Clean Mountains,' 'Before They Fall,' and 'Nuisance Bear' asked deeper questions about man's relationship to the environment. Films like 'Wood Hood' and 'Free To Run' emphasized the positive effects that spending time in nature has on people and society. Overall, it was an amazing 3 nights full of everything Maine Sport is about, and we are thankful to be a part of the festival. If you missed it, don't worry. Banff will be back next year so mark your calendar!
