Birding Tour Leader - Kevin Rogers

Kevin has over 15 years as a professional birder. It all began as a child spending many hours just learning about different species from his Audubon Field Guide, watching birds in his backyard, and along the shore from his dad’s lobster boat. As a professional ornithologist he has worked on research projects studying nearly every species found in New England. Throughout his career he has led numerous bird walks for various conservation organizations, and assisted with several Bird Atlas projects. Kevin also runs the Maine Birds Facebook group where he shares his birding knowledge with the 30,000 members there as often as he can.
