Where
Meet at our flagship store in Rockport at 1pm where you will meet your guide and make sure everyone has everything they need for the trip. You will then be shuttled as a group to our launch in Friendship. From there we paddle to our lodge on Gay Island where your guide will begin the lobster bake on the beach. Enjoy dinner and relax before heading off to bed in the lodge. You’ll wake up, have breakfast then pack up and condition dependent, paddle to Port Clyde where the shuttle will meet you and bring you back to the store.
Our family would love to experience a lobster bake on the beach, but my children are allergic to shellfish. Are there any other foods my children can eat?
Unfortunately not on a group trip. If scheduling a custom guided trip it may be possible. Call the outdoor programs desk at 207-236-8797.
Maine Sport sets a minimum number of participants for each of our guided trips. If the minimum number of participants for a trip is not met, we will gladly move your reservation to the next available trip. If your heart is set on the original reservation, Maine Sport can run the trip as a private guided tour customizing the itinerary and the timing for a modest additional fee. Contact our Outdoors Program desk for more information at 207-236-8797. If no trip is available, Maine Sport will refund the transaction in the original form of payment. The minimum participants for this trip is 6 people.
