XC Skiing Trips

Local Intro to XC Skiing

Join Maine Sport on Sunday mornings this winter for an introduction to X-C Skiing on one of our local golf courses or lakes (weather permitting). This two-hour lesson is designed to get you up and going in a friendly session led by one of our registered Maine Guides. Lessons will include gear basics, tips and tricks and steps to get you out and enjoying X-C Skiing. MSO will provide all XC gear (boots, skis, and poles).

Location:

Either the Megunticook Golf Course or one of our local lakes (condition dependant)

Notified to participants 24-48hrs in advance.

*Lakes local to the Camden Rockport area.

Destination XC Ski Days

Maine Sport wants to go skiing with you. Join Maine Sport as we head north to one of several groomed XC ski centers with natural or man-made snow. Includes transportation, rentals and day passes at one of several destinations. Begins on Saturday January 20th.

Dates:

Saturday, January 20th - Quarry Roads

February 10th – Oxbow Beer Garden/Carters Ski area

March 9th – Penobscot River trails

Timing:

9am-6pm This will allow for driving and 3-4hrs of skiing at that days location.
