Maine Sport Outfitters is proud to announce the second annual Pooches and Paddleboards Race in Camden Harbor! The race course winds its way through the inner harbor, past schooners and sailboats. The course should take approximately ten to fifteen minutes to complete. Maine Sport will provide paddle boards, paddles and PFD’s (required for human companions) for racers needing them. Maine Sport has a limited number of boards, so first come first serve by request for the race. Canines are also required to wear PFD’s. (Available for purchase at Maine Sport and the Maine Dog). Canines and their companions will load up at the base of Harbor Park at 11am and paddle off to the starting line. Registrations are limited so racers are encouraged to book early.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Biggest Canine Companion, Smallest Canine Companion, and First Place.
