Port Clyde to Waterman’s Beach Tour

Join Maine Sport Outfitters  as we paddle “downeast” from the maritime hub of Port Clyde navigating past Marshall Point light and Mosquito Head, exploring granite islands, bold headlands and protected coves.  We’ll enjoy a catered lunch and a leisurely rest on a remote bluff overlooking the Penobscot Bay before paddling past innumerable seals and seabirds. We’ll land steps from our seaside bed and breakfast to enjoy an end of the day refreshment and dinner (on your own).   The inn has fresh and sustainable touches with well-appointed guest rooms that offer comfortable, private accommodations with stunning sea views and a touch of history.  For those who want a little more adventure, there is a nature preserve next door with hiking trails and an abandoned granite quarry for a quick dip before dinner.  Day Two begins with a hearty breakfast at the inn, then on to exploring inlets, estuaries and fishing harbors and landing at one of Mid-coast Maine’s most notable lobster shacks for lunch.  After negotiating a few more cuts and inlets our trip ends at a local seaside brewery for a very well deserved beer and food truck pizza.
